Department of General Education, Government of Kerala, has issued the notification for Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test 2014 also known as K-TET 2104. The said test is to be conducted for measuring the essential aptitude and ability of a person to the post of Teacher.
Interested candidates who want to appear in Kerala TET 2014 can apply online on or before 20 August 2014.

Examination Name: Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test 2014
Categories of Test: There are four individual categories of test:
1. Category I: Include a teacher for Lower Primary classes.
2. Category II: Include a teacher for Upper Primary classes
3. Category III: Include a teacher for High School classes
4. Category IV: Include a language teacher, Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers up to Upper Primary classes (Higher School level)
Fee of Examination:
- For UR: Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ ST/ PH: Rs. 250/-
Educational Eligibility: A candidate required Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary with minimum 45% marks and Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) or Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education or B.El.Ed. for Category-I.

Age: No age limit defined for applicant to appear in Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test 2014.
Passing Marks: The participants will require obtain at least 60% marks for qualifying.
