Salary Negotiation Do's and Don'ts
When you have applied for a new position or for your first job, salary is a big issue and there are lots of questions too in your mind related to salary. Salary negotiation plays a very important role in your career and of course in your life too. 

Here are some suggestions, what to do and not to do during salary negotiation: 
Do’s 
  • Make sure you have done enough research on the salary package, what company is offering and what is your expectation.
  • Remember to ask about the whole package like Allowances, Reimbursements, and all the other benefits and also vacations.
  • Be reasonable at the time of salary negotiation.
  • Be honest about your current salary package. False information may destroy your whole career.
  • Always be respectful even if the offer is below your expectations and you think you deserve.
  • Keep patience on negotiation table. Patience plays very important role in success. 
Don’ts
  • Don’t be shy during negotiation. Talk about your capabilities, Skills, Experience, Education and other qualities.
  • Don’t accept less than your worth doing this may affect your whole career.
  • Do not disclose your expectations before the employer offer. May be they offer you more than your expectations.
  • Don’t try to negotiate after the final negotiation you have made.
  • Don’t get aggressive.
