In Group Discussion one can deal with the GD topic and speak or share his/her opinions. But only some of us know how to speak and behave during GD. Here are some suggestions especially for you, what to do and what not to do while participating in GD:
Do’s
• Listen topic very carefully and try to understand.
• Write your thoughts on paper.
• Try to take initiative.
• Listen others carefully and don’t interrupt others wrongly.
• Give some examples and facts to support your point.
• Give chance to others also, to speak.
• Keep patience and speak politely but loudly.
Don’ts
• Don’t speak too much.
• Don’t lose your temper.
• Make your gesture pleasant, don’t point figure to anyone and don’t thumping the table.
• Don’t try to dominate the discussion in any way and don’t mould the discussion to some other topic.
• Don’t interrupt others.
• Don’t argue and shout.
