Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2014

Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess the degree of Bachelor of Laws from the university/ college recognized by the Bar Council of India. 

Age Limit (As on 11.09.2014): An applicant age should be less than or equal to 40 years and more than or equal to 21 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is valid up to 5 years for the applicant belonging to reserve category as per the notification. 

Selection Criteria: Appointment to the post of Civil Judge (Jr Division) in HCS (Jud. Branch) will be made on the basis of following competitive examinations: 

a. Preliminary Examination 

b. Main Examination 

c. Viva-Voce 

Examination Fee: 

• For UR Male Candidates: Rs. 1000/- 
• For Reserved/ Female Candidates: Rs. 250/- 
• For PH Candidates: NIL
